I'm raising funds to help keep vulnerable people and pets together during tough times

Please donate to my Giving Day fundraiser for Pets Of The Homeless. Your donation will be TRIPLED by their generous gift matchers, meaning you'll have three times the impact!

Any amount you can give will go a long way to help provide much-needed pet food, veterinary care and safe shelter to support the people and pets who need it most. 

Pets Of The Homeless recognises the deep bond between vulnerable people and their pets, and during times of crisis, they work to ensure that this bond is never broken due to a lack of essential pet care resources. By helping these pets, they are assisting their guardians to get back on their feet. Their efforts also reduce the number of healthy pets who are surrendered to shelters and potentially euthanised due to lack of resources or options.

With your help, we can achieve some incredible things:

  • $41 provides a hungry pet with food for an entire month. Today this will be tripled, meaning enough nutritious pet food to cover three months. 
  • $66 offers a pet emergency safe shelter for two nights while their guardian gets back on their feet. Today, this will cover a whole week's peace of mind. 
  • $128 helps a pet get a routine veterinary check up. Today, your support will help to keep three pets happy and healthy.
  • $325 can mean the difference between a life or death situation when a pet gets sick. Today, you can help make sure three pets will receive the emergency veterinary care they so desperately need. 

The companionship and therapeutic value of pets is immeasurable, so please give generously to help me keep best friends together.

I’ve been sick the past few days which slowed me down a bit but I’m still chipping away at the portraits 😊

Tuesday 5th Nov
Thank you everyone I can’t believe how much we have been able to raise in just a few days!! 16 portraits are completed and 44 are on the waitlist currently! Wednesday arvo update: 21 portraits completed, 42 left on the waitlist. Hoping to smash a few more out this evening!

Monday 4th Nov
Thank you everyone for all the donations so far!! (and for helping to spread the word about the fundraiser!!) 
1/4 of the portraits are all sketched and lined and some have started being sent back already.
It’ll be about one weeks wait for the current list of portraits to be completely up to date but I’ll keep you all in the loop!!
